After we have our initial assessment call to determine if I can help you, this is what you can expect next.

  • Stage 1: Collecting Data

Before beginning sleep coaching, I ask clients to collect baseline data on sleep for anywhere from a few days, to two weeks.

  • Stage 2: Comprehensive Assessment

Next, I conduct a comprehensive assessment that involves a thorough sleep history and interview over zoom.

  • Stage 3: Personalized Sleep Program

From there, I design a personalized treatment program, with your input. Once the program is ready, I will send a written plan to you and give you time to read it over and come up with questions, then we will discuss the program, make changes if needed, and practice how you will implement it.

  • Stage 4: Sleep Coaching

When you are ready to start treatment, I will be available via phone for the first several nights to help coach you if you have any questions or problems arise. After the first few nights of treatment, we will have daily coaching check ins via phone or email for at least 5 days, followed by continued email check ins  and data collection as long as necessary to maintain the program. Most clients don’t need much support after the first few days!

What’s Included

  • Initial introduction and overview of the plan via phone (15 min; free)
  • Baseline data collection (1-2 weeks, sending data to me daily via email; no charge for this time)
  • Initial assessment interview (1-2 hrs)
  • Personalized treatment write-up and planning (2-3 hrs)
  • Coaching on treatment implementation (1-2 hrs)
  • Daily follow up phone calls/emails for first 5 days
  • Email/Phone check ins as needed until sleep problems are solved
  • Ongoing data collection and assessment

Billing is hourly, as different clients require different amounts of support. Most clients find that a full assessment and treatment can be completed in 10 or fewer billable hours. If you aren’t ready to commit to a full assessment and treatment, I also offer a “quick consult” which consists of just an hour long zoom meeting to answer questions you have about sleep and provide ideas and tips to try.
